KoN
is Norways oldest RTS online gaming clan and was founded the summer of
2001 |

History
Before The KoN Clan was born, Norway had three large RTS gaming clans. NV - Norwegian
Vikings, Norse - The Norse clan and PoFF - Power of Fjellbu Fighters. All of these
clans played Age of Kings - The Conquerors as their main game. In those days KoN
- Kings of Norway was a site created by Hrafn and pG_DreaMs to cover RTS gaming in
Norway in general. These three clans decided that one large Norwegian clan, could
have a greater chance of survival then 3 smaller clans. The "new" KoN Clan took over The KoN website and turned it into what you see before you today. After the birth of KoN
clan we have gotten many new members, and today KoN has around 20 active
gamers and we are still growing.
Members
KoN's members consist of everything from the inexperienced RTS gamer to highly
skilled experts. We have chosen to make our beloved clan open to almost everyone.
The idea behind this, is to encourage the RTS gaming community in Norway. So that
Norway hopefully one day can compete with other further advanced RTS gaming countries.

Games
KoN is an RTS clan only. Many of our members also play other games, but KoN only
covers RTS games. Today our main focus is on Age of Empires 3: The Warchiefs. We have been playing all the age games since the release of AoC (Age
of Kings - The Conquerors). AoC, AoM, AoM:TT, Age3, and now; Age3: TWC.
Community
KoN also focuses on having members participating in international tournaments
and
RTS league. We have also established a tradition of meeting in real life at
least once a year. This has happened four times, and our last meeting was a big success, over 15 of our members
participating in the KoN LAN party. Check out our

Joining KoN
KoN is a clan open for Norwegians only. We only want active members. With an active
member we mean a member that plays online regularly. We also demand that our members
are active in our forum. Our forum is the place where we get to know one and other
and where we make our appointments. If you accept these terms, feel free to petition
for membership here.
Fill out the applicants form and we will let you know if you can start your trial period.
This trial period is to assure that you are an active gamer and forumer and to
prove to us that you are not a person that wouldn’t fit into KoN.
